Why can fish oils be cloudy ?
Fish oils are a natural product and can have varying degrees of cloudiness.
Naturally saturated fatty acids can appear opaque (even more at cold temperatures) and any random quantity of fish oil can contain more fatty acids than the next.
How dense are fish oils ?
Fish oils, including our salmon oil have a density range of between 0.91 to 0.93 g/cm3. Water has a density of 1g/cm. Actually precise calculations vary for different fish oils and also different temperatures. You will find that oils can be thinner in heated conditions and thicker in winter months. Sometimes the difference is not noticeable but should you inadvertently leave a bottle of salmon oil in the window in the line of the hot sun, then it's likely you will find the oil has thinned out.
How should I store the salmon oil ?
Some people store in the fridge. Some people place in a cool dark cupboard. Storing it away from heat and sunlight is the most important consideration. Also, keep in mind that once opened, you should be aiming to use it within 3 months.
What are the ingredients for your fish oils ?

Why do some plastic bottles appear squashed or pressed in ?
Sometimes bottled can look squashed or pressed. This does not affect the liquid inside at all. Its called panelling and it occurs when the pressure inside a bottle becomes less than the air pressure outside. It can appear more pronounced in times of changing weather and when temperatures vary during bottling, shipping and storage.
