The mirror carp I am holding is a 17lb fish caught from woodland waters Lincolnshire specimen lake a beautiful lake with a good head of carp approx 14.5acres in size
I used the Ourons Spicy Krill bollies soaked in some lake water and lots of the new Ourons Krill Liquid, these were spread around an area approx 1/2 an acre in size close to a hard spot that my rig was presented on.
The hook bait was a small wafter fished in open water.

I wanted to take this opportunity to say thankyou for supplying me with a great quality bait, I have had great success with the pure krill liquid using it in a variety of situation, from applying it directly to my particle mix and loose feed to soaking floaing bait in it so the hook bait was the most attractive food item on the top.
I have also caught a beautiful ghost carp so bright you would mistake it for a koi, this was caught using crushed and halved robin red bollies with a handful of the tiger nuts you supplied me. I used a bright pop up on a multi rig over the top of the other offerings.

I have been using this krill liquid for a few years now and it works a treat in a bait or on a bait .my customers have had several pb fish with baits containing this krill

Bought this a couple of months ago…still to actually use it!…but when I first opened the bottle,I thought it’s nothing like what I’ve had previously..No aroma to it at all and the colour and viscosity Didn’t look right…that’s not to say it won’t work with the carp though!…
I bought this mainly for boilie making and was looking forward to that distinctive krill smell..
Hopefully I’ll be proved wrong when(if) I get round to using it..

Initially I mixed this into my spod mix, I’m working on the levels to use in homerolled boilies. The lake I was fishing is known to be hard for all species. I was after tench on this session. So, out went 5 large balls of krill smelling groundbait, which left a lovely slick on the surface. The tench were straight onto it. This is a water where I have never caught alot in the past. This was the best session I’ve ever had and I put it down to the Krill liquid. Ended the day with 9 tench from 3lb to just under 6. Normally I’m lucky to catch one in a season. Top stuff, can’t wait to use it for carp and barbel.

This is my second tub of krill hydrolysate and having tried at least five other brands from other leading bait companies I can honestly say this for me is the best by a long shot. This is a thick viscous liquid which I use it to flavour bottom hook baits and pop ups and also glug them for at least a week before I use them, consequently they emit a nice halo of attraction allowing the fish to find them very easily. I think this is a good edge overlooked by many.
