The Viscosity of cod liver oil slightly limits the variety of applications for which it is suitable, but is a very effective used with particles when added to boiling water during particle preparation so that it soaks into the particles as they cool.
The recommended inclusion level in base mixes would-be 10-20ml/kg PVA friendly. This pure cod liver oil can safely be given to all animals.

For Horses :
The dose of cod liver oil for horses will vary depending on the horse’s weight and individual needs. However, a general guideline is to give 50ml per day. For horses with joint problems, allergies, or insulin resistance, a higher dose of 90 to 120 ml per day may be recommended.
It is important to start horses on cod liver oil gradually, as too much can cause diarrhea. Begin by giving 15 ml per day for the first few days, and then gradually increase the dose to the desired amount.
Cod liver oil can be given directly to the horse or mixed with its food. If mixing the oil with food, it is important to use a food that the horse will eat readily. Cod liver oil is a safe and effective way to improve the health of horses. It is a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential for joint health, coat condition, and overall health.

Cannot speak too highly of this product, First bottle came with the rescue we adopted who was 14 and very arthritic, so we continued with the rescue centre’s recommendation , it has transformed him, still arthritic of course but he is much more mobile and happy and his coat is so shiny, so easy to administer too, what more could we all want!

I have bring buying the 100% cold pressed hemp oil for quite a while now . I put it in my 10 year old border collie’s dinner to help with his arthritis. It is fab stuff , he used to limp after walks before now nothing and is still running around chasing rabbits and squirrels whenever he can . Fantastic product , great price and super fast delivery .
