The first time I Ordered, unfortunately the seal had been compromised on the Green Lipped Mussel pot, but I suspect that was most likely due to the postal Service.
I contacted Ourons and they were very quick at sending out a replacement, which I received and that was just perfect. My dog loves it in her food, in fact she goes crazy when I open the pot!

I have a 9yr old border collie that had to have preventative double cruciate surgery on her hind legs last year due to degeneration of the ligaments. We didn’t know (because she never showed any symptoms or signs) that she had been over compensating by using her front half. About 8 months after her operation she was doing well but I felt needed something in addition to the joint tablets she was on. I was advised to try Green lipped mussel by a friend who gave me a tub. I would say that I started to notice a difference about 4 weeks later, she has now been on it for about 6 months and (dare I say it) is really happy and doing well.
I have also started giving it to my 6yr old border collie as a preventative measure after listening to a pod cast where two vets were talking about joint care products. They said that it is better to start a product earlier in the dogs life rather than wait until the dog needs it and particularly mentioned Green Lipped Mussel powder as being effective.

My 13year old cocker had lost a bit of interest in her food and would try and nose out her previous joint supplement. She was sleeping round the clock and pottering about. So I thought I’d try her on this. First the smell is so good I would eat it! So her appetite is now excellent and in fact she tries to con one of us out of an extra meal. Second she has regained her zest and canters around and even has a scooby most days. After a week on this she caught a rabbit! Of course she has some days better than others and still gets stiff but overall she is much improved and happier and I would highly recommend.

Trying the green lipped mussel powder on our 7 year old Labrador as the vet said she is now showing early signs of arthritis. She seems to be doing well with it even though she is only getting a half dose but mixed with salmon oil on her food. Very good price and free delivery.
