Our seaweed meal is 100% pure and natural. It has nothing added at all. Seaweed is full of fantastic nutrients and so is given as a supplement to a canine diet. Formal Name : Ascophyllum nodosum. This is one of the many types of species of seaweed that are also refered to as kelp.
Sprinkled within meals, about 1 teaspoon 4 times a week will give your dog amounts of almost all nutritional elements we know of. As well as aiding in general healthy function of organs, this seaweed is also helps a healthy skin and coat.

I’ve bought tiny tubs of dried kelp before, but the 500 g. tub I got from ‘Ourons’ was definitely good value, price wise. Like parsley, kelp does make a dogs breath smell much fresher. I’m not absolutely sure it clean all the plaque of a dogs teeth, but my dogs teeth do look much whiter, since I’ve been sprinkling it on his dinner. He doesn’t seem to mind the taste either as there’s rarely anything left in his bowl. Besides, kelp gives some vitamins and minerals that are good for a dogs health. I have bought this product before from Ourons, I have also used more expensive ones for years which were just mostly dust, until I found
Ourons , their product is far superior and I think it really does help, the plaque sometimes does start but if you scrape it with your nail it slides off fairly easily. and the health benefits from the seaweed are also great so it’s win win, also a healthy mouth means a healthier heart, this worked for my last dog he was 15 1/2 when he died.

My 13 year old greyhound has been having this product for several years, I’m sure that it helps her coat as it’s lovely and smooth and shiny, but I don’t think that it has helped keep her teeth clean.
I have recently adopted another greyhound and am feeding it to him. As his coat is not good at the moment (kennel coat)
